I’d heard great things about Liberty Frozen Custard’s Caramel Sea Salt Shake at Burger Jones and also followed the saga when they dropped it in favor of a cheaper product.
It’s been revived as the September shake-of-the month at Liberty and I finally had one today. It was everything I’d hoped it could be. Of course it’s sweet and salty, but with that almost smoky undertone you achieve with deeply caramelized sugar. Now I think I need a nap.
It’s the shake-of-the-month for a few more days. Is there a petition somewhere to have to permanently added to the menu?
